Louise sings a song about how â€˜big and powerfulâ€™ God is (complete with actions) with the children at the beginning of the service, before they go off for the youth group service consisting of activities and painting. She has always carried a good relationship with the younger ones, and her services are never deemed boring or tedious by them or the older ones.

At the end of the service, Louise had five minutes to herself in silent prayer, while the congregation start on the tea and biscuits. Her chair is situated behind the alter at the very front of the church. It was put there for Louise to sit on during the service if her back gets too painful to carry on standing.

At her local shop, Louise buys the weekly paper and the Church Times every Saturday. She is on first name basis with the store owner, as well as the other half of Dedworths inhabitants.

At the entrance of Louiseâ€™s house is her wide collection of walking sticks. Since being â€˜nudged as a jokeâ€™ by a grounds man and his van some years ago, her spine has been severely out of place and has therefore received many operations to help correct it. She can still walk and slightly jog if need be, however she has trouble standing for long periods of time.

Louise speaks to an officer as she has to make a statement after â€˜suspected youthsâ€™ had broken into the church the night before. Because of her association and relationship with the community and troubled kids, she usually knows who has done certain crimes, in which she will tell the police to help with their investigation. Noting valuable was taken as no money is ever kept in the church, however two bottles of communion wine were reported missing.

Early Sunday morning, before her 9:00am service, Louise speaks as a guest on BBC radio Berkshire for Church Hour speaking about the church and current related events. She is asked to appear more and more frequently these days (about twice a month now). Other guests included the Bishop of Reading and Marcus Hahnemann (Readingâ€™s football team goal keeper in the Premiership)

Louise has a go at line dancing one night during a pilgrimage up in Northumberland. She tries to get involved in as much as she can and loves a good time. Although the pilgrimage was to â€˜find God inside ones selfâ€™, it didnâ€™t stop people having fun and joining in the northern culture of pipe music and dancing.
