Milwaukee, Wisconsin, February 16, 2008: The Wisconsin Democratic party's Founder's Day fundraiser in Milwaukee included both of the partyÕs candidates, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (who gave the key note adress) and Senator Barack Obama. Both gave inspired speeches to the partyÕs members inside of the Midway Airway Center. The event was particularly important this year as both Senators find themselves in an entrenched battle for the remaining delegates at stake in the primaries. Senator Barack Obama gestures while delivering a speech to a Wisconsin Democratic Party fundraiser which included democratic party members from all over the nation. Senator Obama hopes that Wisconsin and Hawaii will serve as a springboard to his once seemingly impossible attempt to receive the partyÕs nomination.

April 11, 2008, Gary, Indian: Susan Allen, a life long Republican from Wisconsin is in Gary, Indiana, volunteering Sen. Obama. Susan represent a demographic which has been eluding Sen. Obama, older white women. When asked why she decided to support Senator Obama she said "I've never seen anything like this before, maybe in 68, but I don't think is was quite in this scale. The energy, the potential, this is the least that I can do"

April 25. 2008,Gary, Indiana,: Congress Bernard, 42 years old, was born and raised in Gary, Indiana. As an employee of Service Sanitation he has faired much better than many of his friends in Gary. Just recently the United Truck company, one of the main employers in Gary for the past 100 years in Gary, was shut down. "We need him now more than ever" is what Mr. Bernard said when asked about Brack Obama, "he knows our struggles".

Gary, Indiana, April, 2008:William Henry Irving IV was a law student at Purdue. One weekend he came back to Gay, Indiana to help his parent get part of a tree off of their roof after a storm had cause a branch to land on top of their house. In the process he fell 40 feet off of the roof. When he woke up in the hospital he could only recognize his Father. Over the past eight years he has been slowly re-learning his life story and attempting to get back to "normal speed". For him "Obama is what finally got me out of my bed, this is the least that I can do"

St. John, Indiana: Sam Gilchrest is a field organizer for the Obama campaign. He had planned to attend Graduate school at UC Berkeley but after seeing what happened in Iowa decided to join Senator Obama's campaign to help change this country. "We're divided, we need someone who can galvanize the American people". Today he is in a stereotypically Republican area, canvassing door to door in hopes of informing people why they should vote for Senator Obama in his home state's upcoming primary.

For the first time in 40 years Indiana voters have the chance to truly influence the nominating process of the Democratic party. Ms. Montgomery(who when asked how to spell her name responded, "first name like the fruit and last name like the clothing store") has seen Gray transform from a booming industrial town to a dangerous area with a high crime rate and low employment rate. Having recently seen Mr. Obama in person at a local high school is convinced that he is the candidate who will adress her needs and concerns after seeing one President after another neglect her town.

March 1, 2008, Lima, Ohio: Residents tally up their vote counts in preperation for the State's upcoming primary. The town of Lima's biggest employer had been a factory which produced cranes and construction equipment. Since its closing the town's economy has been on a decline. Speaking to residents of the twon, many hope for the change Senator Obama is promising them. It is clear that with jobs being lost and gas prices going up, the people of this town deserve more from their country.

May 3, 2008, Schererville, Indiana: Robert Earl Lewis, a retired high school principle who first met Michelle Obama as one of his students, was in Indiana this weekend to volunteer for her and Sen. Brack Obama. He believes that Senator Obama, as the brother of a high school teacher in Honolulu and an agent of change, will remedy the malignant public school system in America.

"I don't know many people here anymore, everyone keeps coming and going, since Cabrini got tore down(in reference to the destruction of the Cabrini Green housing project in Chicago, Illinois, which has created a forced migration of people to Gary and other towns in Indiana which surround the city of Chicago) people been coming in and out". "I want him (Sen Obama) to succeed so we can back to doing what we need to. Its the young generation that I'm worried about, my Grandaughter, she's doing good, she just took me to Paris, but my grandson, he's younger and struggling to pay the school bills. I want someone in the White House who is ready to take care of me and them(her grandchildren)"

May 3, 2008: Paul West, a resident of the south suburbarn area of Chicago for 19 years is a 45 year old white male who admits that as a self-described "blue collar work, I don't exactly fit into the stereo-typical Obama demographic". Paul believes that Obama "can do good for this country, get us out if this war, and help the younger generations". It is voters like him that will determine the outcome of the state's primaries.
