Salt Lake City, Utah --2/8/07-- Volunteers Ashley Booth and Jamie Hardman sign "I love you" to the USA deaf hockey team during their game against Finland during the 16th Winter Deaflympics in Salt Lake City, Utah. USA won the game 4-2 and went on to win the gold medal.

Provo, Utah --12/15/07-- Pepperdine's Jason Walberg, #12, gouges the eyes of Brigham Young University's Jonathan Tavernari, #45, during the first half of the game. No foul was called on the play. Although Tavernari missed the basket immediately following the eye gouge, he was not injured. Later in the game, he scored back-to-back three-pointers, helping BYU win the game 86-67. Tavernari finished the game with 10 points.

The FlowRider is an artificial sheet wave, which pumps out 30,000 gallons of water every minute, allowing riders to surf in the land-locked state of Utah like a similarly shaped wave that moves in the ocean.

He and his unicycle were not injured in the wreck. The three-day event drew more than 175 unicyclists -- ages 6 to 60 Ð- from 21 states, 4 Canadian provinces and the United Kingdom, France, Denmark and Austria.
