August 14 2008 - Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. After judo competitor Naidan Tuvshinbayar wins the 100kg title, crowds of people in the capital city of Mongolia celebrate on the streets. Large crowds gathered in the center of the city at Sukhbaatar Square in the midst of fireworks and a speech from the President. It is the first time that Mongolia has won a gold medal in Olympic history.

July 29 2008 - Omnogobi Aimag (Province) in Mongolia. A herder and his herd of camels walking in the great sand dunes of southern gobi. Know locally as Khongoryn Els, the sand dunes are also known as the 'Singing Dunes' since a whistling sound is heard when wind blown over them. Though summers in the Gobi are hot, locals have been talking about the increasing temperatures over the years.
