The only transport between the tiny villages dotted along the banks of the Amazon river are linked by ferry or speed boat. This ferry transports the rice produced, bread, flour, live animals and people pile on for a journey that can take anywhere from 3 days to two weeks. Here one sees the bottom level of the ferry, and the sleeping quarters (hammocks)
