2 climbers near the Yellow band with the summit of Mount Everest visible. There are plumes of clouds blowing off the summit, which indicate very windy and dangerous conditions near the top. This is at a height of about 8000m, where the 'Death Zone' starts. The Death zone is a term that refers to high altitudes, encountered by mountain climbers, where the amount of oxygen present cannot sustain human life.
