http://www.lightstalkers.org/galleries/contact_sheet/1810 On the 7th and the 8th of June the leaders of the industrialized nations met in Germany to discuss climate change, global economy and politics. In order to secure the leaders a 18km steel wall was built around the baltic resort of Heiligendamm. It cost 12.5m Euro's and took 3 years complete. It kept the demonstrators away from the view of the world leaders.The whole summit was orchestrated to such an extend that it was almost predictable what kind of pictures would come from it And the media was well catered for, with free meals, free alcohol and the usual press-centres, complete with news rooms, internet and free global telephone calls (although I have not tried to call anyone in N.
