The workers of the centre can work in the streets themselves or in collaboration with the police. As soon as the child is there, they try to collect the information about his\her birthplace, relatives, try to get information about how they came to the city, because they work with the children who come from other places. At first they are unwilling to talk, but as the time passes, they feel the friendly atmosphere and the first smiles appear on their faces. After all the information and the papers are collected, they are taken back to their families or orphanages, but, unfortunately, often the same child may reappear in the centre for several times. It means that there is no possibility for the child to live in his family or in the orphanage, where the life may be very hard.
