    <title>&quot;Pakistan Floods&quot; (by Eduardo Di&#173;az)</title>
    <link>http://www.lightstalkers.org/galleries/contact_sheet/27573</link>
<description>After having lost their homes and run away with the few things they can collect before the savage waters come, thousands of families from the town of Charsadda, north west of Pakistan have to shift to the relatively safe zones of the city in search of a shelter for their relatives, building handmade tents with the rubble and sticks of wood the river bring from the swat valley on eventually settled refugee camps along the roads and taking every public building they can get in to keep their family away from the heavy rain. Some days after the beginning of the floods, the waters start to recede allowing them to come back to the places where their homes use to be, to discover there&#8217;s nothing left to live in in the majority of the cases. The biggest tragedy in the country since the partition manages huge numbers of displaced families and entire villages stranded with nowhere to go. Trough the personal stories of Kamram, Sawera or Bushra, we can try to understand better the feeling of millions of Pakistani families that have lost everything they have on earth</description>

Without any other place to go, the family are waiting for the monsoon to leave before they start reconstructing their lives.</title>
