Here spreads a self built camp. Those who settled along this sidewalk a year ago, at the very foot of the Ministry of Finance, live for sure in the street, but they fight for the many that, in Israel, are victims of a liberal économic policy and of a budget dedicated, for 50%, to defence spendings. Moshe, Israel, Frida, Ilan are reluctant to tell their own story. However they cannot hide their anger at successive governements that foresook not only the weakest of their citizens. Public support is massive, generous help from anonymous people and an office at the Knesset, allow those of Kikar Halehem to struggle against the trend that made two millions Israelis, out of six, to live under the soil of poverty.
