    <description>La madrugada del 28 de septiembre de 2010, la comunidad de Santa Mar&#237;a de Tlahuitoltepec, en Oaxaca, sufri&#243; intensas lluvias y deslaves. Las autoridades difundieron versiones contradictorias sobre el alcance de la tragedia y al constatar que los muertos no ser&#237;an cientos cancelaron a medio camino el viaje de camiones, ambulancias y helic&#243;pteros que llevaban asistencia llegando solamente v&#237;veres. Desde esa noche hasta d&#237;as despu&#233;s fueron los lugare&#241;os quienes, pala en mano, se ocuparon de buscar sobrevivientes, recuperar cuerpos y limpiar la zona. Mientras, los soldados rondaban por el pueblo, dorm&#237;an en el gimnasio y ocupaban el edificio de la cabecera municipal.</description>
