She makes a small amount of money selling wool booties and dried apples and stays active by collecting her buckets of water from the local well and preparing food on the old wood-burning stove. Although electricity poles appear on the right, Omalo only had a few year period in all its history when the electricity installations were functioning.

Woman who are harvesting grapes outside of Telavi take a break. There are many vineyards in the area and a massive harvesting of grapes for wine and 'chacha' (Georgia's home -brewed licor) takes place in September.
