Members of the ministry sing and dance at a Wednesday Discipleship Class. This service took place during a fast the church staged, which excluded meat and sweets for three days, in honor of the anxiously awaited 'breaking ground' and construction of homes on their fifty-six acres of land.

Shawn, one of the 'Real New Orleans Style Restaurant' chefs, is cleaning up at The Smoking for Jesus Ministry's restaurant along US Highway 281 N. The ministry opened this restaurant to bring some of their local creole New Orleans cuisine to the Hill Country town of Round Mountain, TX as well as create jobs and income for some of their members. The restaurant serves traditional New Orleans dishes as well as some Texan influenced ones like breakfast tacos.

The reception was held at the lake on the fifty-six acres of property the ministry recently purchased. The lake is about a ten minute walk from the church, and the reception included lots of New Orleans food, a Jesus-related rapping performance by the newleyweds, and performances by the Dance Ministry. The Smoking for Jesus Ministry has many different 'Ministries' or groups that focus on training and/or the practicing of certain skills.
