I love the natural and unforced urge of the crowd to scream out their belief, their conviction. I love the sound of the word GOAL! I love comments from the old fans, some who after more than fifty years, still make the journey to Bulgarska Street, just like they use to do as kids brought to the stadium by their fathers. Finally I love the tension, when we’re still unsure of the result. Before Lech Poznan rose again from the ashes and took Europe by surprise in 2010, I had been documenting its fans and stadium. When I started to take pictures, Kolejorz were still playing in the Poland's second league. From 2002 – 2005 I witnessed the clubs promotion to the Ekstraklasa and the winning of both the Polish Cup and the Super Cup. I witnessed its financial struggle and the support Kolejorz received from it's fans, no matter what the score was. Fans of Lech Poznan are known worldwide for the passion they hold for the club.
