Glenn Young,52,has been a quadriplegic since 1974.For 16 months,he's been bedridden.He just got a wheelchair form his HMO, but he needs to pay $4,090 before he gets to keep it - otherwise, they are going to take it away. He worked for many years at FPL [Florida Power Light], but for the past year has been unable to work because of his injuries. he gets paid minimal disability, and wants to earn money, he says, so that he can attend NASCAR races. he has already done a lot on his own to further his goal , but he has been unable to surmount this last hurdle of getting together the $4,090.
