Mikhail Galustov is a Moscow-based photographer specialized in documentary and news reportage. He began his career with a small local newspaper when he was 16. Later he studied TV journalism at the Lomonosov’s Moscow State University and covered news for Kommersant Daily newspaper, the Russia’s largest. Mikhail shifted to freelance in 2005 and he has been on assignments for Newsweek, Stern, Der Spiegel, The New York Times, Le Monde, Liberation and others, also worked on a documentary for Medicines Sans Frontier in Chechnya.
