Greetings,
I have decided to make the move of a lifetime to Europe in April 2008 the day after I turn 50. I have lived in the San Francisco Area for most of my life and am looking for a fresh start to pursue establishing my music career overseas. I am a singer/songwriter/guitarist and have musical roots that combine blues, funk and folk music with lyrics that are inspirational in nature.

I am not sure of where I want to center myself yet but I am looking for an area that is artistically vibrant, somewhere close (at least get-to-able) to the ocean or a body of water. I am thinking Italy, Switzerland, Germany, The Netherlands, possibly France or the Nordic region I am studying french and italian. As you can see, I’m all over the map!

I and am looking for some feedback from people who might know others who have done this or know those have. I am also hoping that people who live in these areas might tell me of the housing situations, music scenes and possibly of theirs or anyones take on this life renewing quest to live without regret and to the fullest degree.
