About

I’m a French freelance photojournalist based in New York since 2006, specializing in news, portraits and event imagery.

After studying Law and Journalism in France, I worked with the photo agency Abaca Press as staff photographer for almost 3 years in the 2nd largest city of France. I used to cover major French political rally, the last presidential campaign, social and economic news as well as entertainment events. My work has been published by most of the French preeminent publications such as l’Express, le Point, VSD, le Nouvel Observateur, Le Figaro Magazine, Le Monde, l’Expansion, Gala or Point de Vue among others.

In September 2006, I moved to New York and, after a brief stint with Abaca USA and Gamma Press, joined Polaris Images as Contributing Photographer for two years. I covered the U.N General Assemblies, the Pope visit in New York, the economic crisis and Wall Street, the Presidential Campaign, and a lot of Movie Premiere amid a lot of other different stories. My work has been published in the main magazines and websites in USA such as Business Week, Sport Illustrated, Newsweek, Portfolio, Vanity Fair, the New York Magazine, Rolling Stones, Us Weekly, In Touch, and several other publications in the world.

Viewfinders series

Hi Guys,
I wanted to share this with you. Just take a look!
The award-winning online video network, Zoom In Online (ZIO), will debut its latest original HD video series ‘VIEWFINDERs’ through its Photography Channel on March 2, 2009. ‘VIEWFINDERs’ introduces the world’s hottest emerging photographers and pits them against each other for a chance at major prizes and career-launching opportunities. A new group of photographers with similar specialties will be featured each month. The series is produced and directed by Rachel Talbot, producer of the Emmy-nominated “Live from New York: The First Five Years of Saturday Night Live.”

The first specialty field is Political Photojournalism. Each of the photographers featured has a diverse portfolio from the 2008 presidential campaign, leading up to the Obama inauguration. Photo Editors from political publications (NY Times magazine, Politico.com, The Onion) alongside leaders in the photography community (Adobe, Getty Images, National Press Photographers’ Association) assisted in the selection of photographers, and the production of VIEWFINDERs. The 6 photojournalists featured include Keith Bedford, Yana Paskova, Katie Orlinsky, Jennifer S. Altman, Gerald Holubowicz. The judges for the political photojournalist segment are Michael Bocchieri, Senior Editorial Photo Editor, Getty Images and Patrick Ryan, Photojournalist and Founding Photo Editor, Politico.

A new episode will be published every day for the first week of the month. In future months, the specialty fields include fashion, portraiture, celebrity, nature and sports. During the first week of every month a new photographer will be introduced on Monday through Thursday culminating in a dramatic competitive challenge on Friday. In addition, the producers are asking the community to share their point of view by submitting their own photographs around that month’s theme. Every day ZIO will feature a photograph from the community on its Photography Channel.

“VIEWFINDERs captures the drama and art behind seizing a moment in time, and our guests have really embraced the competitive aspect of the show. But it’s not enough anymore to simply present a compelling story and hope your audience enjoys it,” states ZIO’s Managing Editor, Mike Raffensperger. “We want our viewers to become part of the conversation. It’s what makes the web such an exciting and dynamic medium, and it’s why we do what we do.”

The show is produced with the support and partnership of Adobe, the Hasted Hunt Gallery, the Daniel Cooney Fine Art Gallery and the Safe-T Gallery.
