Recent PostReportage Workshop in Berlin with Robert KnothThis workshop aims to address professional photographers and photographic students. Visual storytelling has become increasingly important in a digital world which confronts the public with a large stream of images everyday. When used well, pictures can be a powerful tool of relation. This workshop intends to support the realization of already started or planned reportages of the participants, as well as to improve their visual skills. It will deal with questions such as: how to create a strong narrative and how to develop a personal photographic language, that supports what we want to tell. The participants are invited to bring along their current projects. On their basis, the process of creating a reportage will be explored: how to research ideas, how to translate them into a compelling story and how to shoot them in the most impressive way possible. The workshop program includes – besides an intense debate about the presented projects – completing the project conception, optimizing the story line and editing. The workshop will be held in english. Lecturer: Robert Knoth (www.robertknoth.com) Participants fee: Date: |
