Born in 1975, Porto Alegre, southern Brazil. Studied at the International Center of Photography in New York, was a staff photographer in one of the major newspapers in Brazil and taught photojournalism at Pontificia Universidade Católica in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Has been shooting for the major newspapers in Brazil since 1997 and publishing his pictures in magazines in Brazil, Mexico, Portugal and in the US. Along with brazilian photographer and friend Claudio Versiani, publishes the electronic photomagazine PicturaPixel (www.picturapixel.com). Chose New York City to live and to work. Available for domestic and international assignments.
