Going to Peru in April 06

Bonjour a todo los Lightstalkers!

I am heading to Peru in mid April. Never been there and will be staying with a friend in Lima.

I am going to Machu Picchu  but would love to hear from those that have travelled there about

any other must see places in Peru. Unfortunatetly, I  will be there for only 10 days, but I know

it will be ten beautiful days.

Anyone else, traveling around that time or living in Peru that would like to go out for drinks or a hike?

Send me an e-mail.

You will probably be in Cuzco before you go to Machu Picchu, if not be sure to go there. The train ride from Cuzco to Aguas Calientes (the gateway town to the ruins) is rated as one of the finest mountain train rides in the World, well worth doing! Lima is very dangerous, take very good care of all your possessions and try not to walk around with cameras on show. I’m sure your friend will keep you safe. Have fun.
