Pakawat Suphanakhan, otherwise known as Gong, has worked in the Television and Film industry for more than a dozen years. Based in Thailand, he has worked in many countries in the region on local as well as international productions. He is best known as a Producer, UPM, and/or 1st AD. on high quality Feature Films, TV Commercials and Television series.

Among his many projects, Gong was the Producer of a Television Show called Talk of The Town for Thai TV Ch.3, Unit Manager for Human Trafficking (Thailand Part) , Production Manager on Zee Oui (Thai Movie), Line Producer for Cannes Winner “Naomi Kawase” in the first movie that she made outside Japan ” If Only the Whole World Loved Me”, and recently as the 1st AD on a Feature Film shot in The Philippines, called Deep Gold. Recently he work on Scorpion KIng “Battle of Redemption” and Cooktales starring Michelle Yeoh.

He’s worked on more than 300 TV Commercials with world-reknowned Directors such as RAD-ish, Frederic Planchon, Rob Sander, Jean-Pierre Roux, Bo Platt, Style Wall, John Hilcoat, Michal Warr, Suthon Petsuwan and Tanonchai Sornrivichai and ETC.

Some of the products that he has been involved with commercials for, include: Coca Cola, Sprite, Toyota, Nissan, Pantene, Orange Communications, Sunsilk, Unilever, and Proctor & Gamble.

Gong has been listed as a Local Coordinator “Fixer” with The Thailand Film office since 2001 and Ranking No.1 Fixer in 2010-2011

Gong’s adventurous spirit has led him to be certified as a Padi Rescue Diver, and has allowed him to be involved in numerous underwater film projects.
