Gordon Welters is a photojournalist currently based in Berlin, Germany. Gordon was born in East Germany in 1974. Since 1998 he has been working as a freelance editorial and reportage photographer. He has been published in national and international magazines and newspapers. Picture stories have taken him to Russia, Kazachstan, Indonesia, Cuba and around Europe. He worked for Non Government Organisations (NGOs) like Christian Aid and Attac as well as for corporate clients like KPMG, Deutsche Post and Tchibo. Gordon organized photo workshops and was a jury member of various photo awards in Germany and the United States. From 2000 -03 he was a member of Journalistenbüro Spot. In 2003/04 Gordon studied photojournalism at the London College of Communication. Since 2006 he is represented by laif.
