GRAZIA NERI - New Portfolio
|
Dear LS Friends,
I hope you do not mind as I wanted to do a little bit of self-promotion. I have been contributing for a while to the Italian agency Grazia Neri, however I was recently invited to display my porfolio with them and become available for assignments through them.
I wanted to share this with you, as this is a great agency with some excellent photographers, whose work I’m sure you’d be interested in viewing, if you haven’t already.
Hope you can begin with my portfolio: http://www.grazianeri.com/scheda_fotografi.php?id_fotografo=541
Any comments are always welcome. If you’re ever passing through Beijing, please drop me a line.
Best Wishes, Sean

Congats Sean… even though I don’t know the benefits of working with an agency since never worked with one… but Grazia Neri seems like a very interesting one, representing some very, very good photographers… Best,

Velibor….I think the main advantage of being represented is that more work gets put your way through the contacts the agency already has. They’ll publicise your work, through emails and your portfolio, and will probably reach people who wouldn’t of known about you before. I think very useful when you haven’t been around (in photography) for very long. Being with a good agency also gives a bit more reassurance for the ‘employer’ i.e. the person who will possibly be commissioning you. Saying all those points though, there are many very successful photogs who ‘go solo’ and do very well. I think they tend to have been around for a much longer time though. I think it just comes down to what ever suits you best.
Alex…Enjoyed looking at your work!
