Born and grew up in India, graduated in photojournalism from the University of Texas, Austin.   After moving to New York in 2004, I studied at the International Center of Photography and worked as a freelance photographer for India Today International. My work has appeared in Business Today, Stern, Geo, Amnesty International, Frontline, Internazionale and Missio Aktuel. After three years of working as a staff photographer with the Hindustan Times business newspaper MINT, I am now working on my own projects and available for freelance assignments.
