Helen Warburton

In 2006 Helen completed a HND in Photography at Leeds College of Art & Design and is now a 3rd year Documentary Photography BA student in Newport, Wales. Recent projects have investigated included the english roadside snack bar, family life of children who live with social and physical disabilities, widowhood, anti-teenage portraiture, the scout association, machismo in young males and their hobbies/sports.
Work has been exhibited in the Flannels gallery space in Leeds city centre, which explored the contrasts between the idealism, quest for autonomy and dream-like states felt in childhood with the realities of a child’s dependency on their adult guardians.
