Help With Polaroid Land Camera 100 Automatic

The camera seems to work perfect, except one thing. The Battery only last a few hours. its a 4.5v battery thats $12-15 and i don’t think it should drain that quickly. I bought the camera for $4 and already wasted money on film and batteries ten times the price of the camera.

The battery wires have some corrosion on them. Could that cause it to drain the battery?

Also is there any way to convert the type of battery that it takes. I came across a site that said a couple AAA batteries could do it.

I converted one a couple of years ago to a more common type of snap end battery
(I can’t remember specifics and wish I knew where that camera was.) Radio shack had the parts and advised me on it. Try them.

Do you have any advice for rigging a TTL flash up to it?
