About
I am a Mexican photojournalist living in Mexico City. I worked for Reuters news pictures agency during ten years, from 1990 to August 2000. Then I moved to La Jornada newspaper, one of the most influential newspapers in Mexico, as the news pictures chief editor for two years. Now I’m working as a free lance photographer. Among my clients are the Chicago Tribune, McClatchy-Tribune newspapers and also the news pictures agencies Latinphoto and Zuma Press. Actually I’m also working in a photodocumentary project on Mexican Native people migrating from their southern remote villages to northern cities in Mexico searching for jobs and better living conditions.

Do you know magazines, newspapers who are planning to cover the ceremony of president-elect Felipe Calderon as he takes office on December 1, 2006. Also, leftist candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador will take an alternate office on November 20, 2006. Pls send me any info from anywhere if somebody needs photos or an assignment.
Cheers,
