How long digital?

For those who shoot only digital- how long have you been completely digital? Did your paper/employer provide the camera? What type of digital camera did you start out with? I started out with a Kodak/Nikon DCS 200 based on the Nikon 8008 body (yes-it was horrible.) Ah, the memories….

I’ve been fully digital for nearly 3 years. I went straight from shooting and scanning film on location/deadline to a D1x bypassing all the early digital slr’s. I’m freelance so it was totally my cost to do so but the market was already there so off I went.

Entering my 3rd year with digital. Still shooting film from time to time depending on the location and situation. It’s all my on my dime. Currently waiting on D2X’es.
