I’ve been following a small French NGO in Jacmel after the earthquake, who pulled out the only survivor there, a 3-week old girl called Elisabeth Joassaint. I took various pictures of her and her mother, Michelene, at the hospital, together with some of the rescuers (incl. the Colombian medic who attended her) and I offered to send her some of the pictures.
Unfortunately, she doesn’t have an email and as for postal address, well, she doesn’t have a house anymore :-( If any of you was going to Jacmel, and/or knew someone there with an Internet connection and a printer (or just a postal address), I would really appreciate being able to send her a couple of photos. I should add that last time I heard about her, she wasn’t in the hospital St Michel anymore but apparently living in a tent, next to her destroyed house (it’s close to the cemetery). However, finding her shouldn’t be a problem as everyone in Jacmel knows about her baby’s story ;-)
If you can help, please PM me to work it out. On behalf of all the rescue team, a big thanks !
