Image dates and search improvements
|
Hey all—couple of updates to the image database today. We’ve added a new (optional) “taken at” field; you can use this to specify the date on which a particular photo was taken.
We’ve also updated image search to reflect this; you can search for images taken within a particular timeframe. You can also now sort your search results.
IPTC question: The IPTC core specification does include date fields; is this usually an accurate indicator of when the photo was taken? If we get a consensus that it is, we’ll add it to the list of fields automatically imported. If not, we’ll skip it and let you set this manually as you see fit.
Thanks—if you see any problems, please report them to support@lightstalkers.org.
