Todas son vacas avileñas adquiridas en diferentes puntos de España, y realizan una trashumancia de cinco días de duración desde Fortanete en Aragón, donde los pastos de esta zona apenas existen por motivo de las fuernes nevadas y heladas, hasta Amposta, junto al delta del Ebro en Cataluña. - Ninety-one cattle take part in the journey. They are all Avileña cows purchased in various parts of Spain, and they take part in a five-day transhumance that begins in Fortanete in the region of Aragón, where there is a lack of winter pastures owing to frost and snow, and ends in Amposta, at the Ebro river delta in Catalonia.
