An elderly woman moves to the middle of the seat, taking advantage of a brief moment of extra space in sleeper class during a two-day train ride through South India. Having spent the night surrounded by baggage and people sleeping in every direction - on three tiers of platforms and on the floor - she moves out of the warm sunlight and pulls her bare feet from the grimy floor.
