On March 11,2011 a magnitude 9.0 earthquake on the Richter scale hit Japan. A tsunami of gigantic proportions followed. On Agust 11th, 5 months after the quake I set on a personal journey on foot from Sendai to Kamaishi, about 210 Km to document the evolution of the situation. In Kesennuma a large ship was left by the Tsunami far away from the port and probably will not be able to be rescued. 18 August, 2011. Gianni Giosue ©
