On March 11,2011 a magnitude 9.0 earthquake on the Richter scale hit Japan. A tsunami of gigantic proportions followed. On Agust 11th, 5 months after the quake I set on a personal journey on foot from Sendai to Kamaishi, about 210 Km to document the evolution of the situation. Many people, especially the elderly live in small agricoltural communities. Life goes on unperturbed by the Fukushima accident. 21 August, 2011. Gianni Giosue ©
