The Carnival causes one to view the festive moments on the subjective level. Tradition by the elders and the wealthy that can afford perfect costumes , to the art designers that walk about in fantasy costumes which don't relate to the time. The there are the college students that dress completely different from tradition. It could be in the next ten years the Venice Carnival might take on a completely different look, with masks made from paper plates, and blue jeans. For now the traditional still recall the facts and can afford to dress themselves as the character while others can not afford the elaborate costumes.
