An employee of BIDCO, a large East African domestic products company, wears an Tshirt in honour as he queues to pay his respects in front of the band at the funeral of 38 year old Mitul Shah, a British citizen who was a Director of the company. Hundreds of mourners and well-wishers queue up to pay their last respects to his body lying in the main hall of the Oshwal Community Centre in Westlands nearby to the Westgate Shopping Centre where the young Director was killed during the 4 day attack by Al-Shabaab militants. Mitul was a member of the community's security organisation ORC whose members donned red shirts with We Are One on the back for the funeral. By all accounts Mitul was said to be an incredible young man, full of vitality, love and vision. "There are not enough adjectives to describe him" said one BIDCO employee. (image by Georgina Goodwin)
