Time has stopped for Mr Huo Weiying, an old resident of Hujialou next to the Third Ring Road which has now been flattened to become part of the 20 hectare CCTV Tower site. The calendar in his old apartment marks April 9, the day he says an eviction crew from the local authorities jumped in through his back window and forced him and his parents out. Screaming to be heard, he took to scrawling graffiti all over the windows and walls, inscribing the repeated incidents of harrassment into the concrete before it became rubble.
