Paddy takes a drunken afternoon snooze on his bed, a couch in the living room. He prefers to sleep on the couch instead of in his own room. His life revolves around the living room in front of the television and a stack of old newspapers. He rarely leaves the apartment since he had several toes and fingers amputated.
