The driver of a car lost control on Sheed Rd. near Harrison Ave. and careened into a fire hydrant sending water up into the air at least 100 feet. The driver walked away from the accident, but was taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons. The stability of overhead power lines were a concern to emergency responders on the scene.
