As part of "Downtown Dazzle", an organized effort to boost commerce during the holiday season, Carl Fries plays the role of Santa Claus as he repels down the side of the Hyatt Regency hotel in downtown Cincinnati. To kick off a fireworks display, Fries made his way safely down the 210-foot wall while thousands watched below. "This is a great thrill for me," he said.
