Mercedes Cordoba Inga breaks down as she visits the graves of her two children. Her daughter Maricruz died at the age of 18 and her son Guillermo at the age of 3, both from contamination related issues. Maricruz died a slow death after her immune system shut down. Guillermo died of cancer after a short life. Both had excessive levels of lead and arsenic in their blood. Mercedes has been exposed to the gases her entire life, and its possible she passed lead to her children while in the womb. Her only hope now is to keep her 12-year-old daughter Susan alive, but unfortunately she has the same symptoms Maricruz had.
