Family and friends say goodbye to Alfredo Zurita Vega, 15, another child lost to La Oroya's contamination. After a life of sickness, he died from cancer after developing a tumor which eventually spread throughout his entire body. Death is a harsh reality in La Oroya and will continue to be until Doe Run fulfills their promise to upgrade it's plant in Peru.
