Isabelle lives with a roommate in a adult home. Despite the depressing conditions of living in a city home, Isabelle is a bundile of inspiration and energy. Living in a adult home versus a nursing home means that the residents have the freedom to leave the premises. Isabelle explains to me that the majority of the residents drink alcohol--including herself- to escape the boredom and misery of institionalized living.
