A Senegalese who calls himself Mack warms his hands in front of a recovered broken electric stove in an abandoned industrial garage on November 27, 2007 in Barcelona, Spain. They are flown thousands of kilometres further from their home and released without a residency or a work permit. The result is that they are left in a legal limbo without rights to be there, nor resources to return.
