Acehnese Alamsyah, plays with his surviving child on a mattress lying atop ruins of what used to be their house, amidst a sea of destruction and debris surrounding the make-shift home they have temporarily set up. This Acehnese man along with his wife and children, were swept away by the giant tsunami waves on December 26, 2004 and somehow miraculously managed to survive but lost his son and other members of his extended family on that fateful day.
