The giant tsunami waves generated by the December 26, 2004 mega-quake swept across Banda Aceh and destroyed homes, took lives and property. Months after the catastrophe struck, help was too long coming so some Acehnese men decided to start rebuilding a make-shift house on their own while awaiting aid.
