Acehnese women victims of the tsunami, push wheelbarrows filled with debris they collected from their destroyed village. Under the Òcash-for-workÓ program, an International NGO pays each of them a small amount of cash to clean up their own village. Despite the small amount of cash, the program has proved therapeutic for the Acehnese to take active part in rebuilding their own communities.
