An Acehnese family who survived the tsunami took over a spot in the ruins of what used to be a shop-house and converted it into a food stall. Images of debris, tents and destruction across the street are reflected on the glass display window. The giant tsunami waves generated by the December 26, 2004 mega-quake swept and destroyed this area located about 3 kilometers from the seashore.
