On the way to Newroz area in Diyarbakir people parade single color flags to join later with Red and Green ones, colors of the banned Kurdish flag. Police and Army always confiscate kurdish "symbols" at the entrance of the designated Newroz area. Roughly one million people joined Newroz in Diyarbakir this year.
